Both the City and Town of Delafield are located within the boundaries of two of the best school
systems in the state.  Arrowhead (Hartland-Lakeside) and Kettle Moraine school systems receive
high grades in scholastics, athletics and parent involvement.

At the intersection of I-94 and Hwy. 83 lies a large retail area with  big stores such as Walmart,
Target, Best Buy, and Home Depot mixed with a variety of smaller retailers, restaurants, hotels, a
movie theatre and a grocer. There are also newer retail developments at the corner of Hwy. 18 and
Hwy. 83 and at the intersection of Hwy. 16 and Hwy. 83.

Along with many other community parks, Delafield has a Sports Commons with a skateboard park,
several baseball fields, vollyball courts, a children's playground area and a sport court.

Lapham Peak State Park has great hiking trails, biking trails and nice picnic areas.  The observation
tower at Lapham is the highest peak in Waukesha County and well worth the climb to watch a
sunset.  The 7 mile Black Trail challenges the most conditioned athletes with some severe up and
down hill paths weaving through the forest.  This park also has lighted cross country ski trails.

The heart of the 15 mile biking and hiking Lake Country Trail runs through Delafield.  The trail is now
paved from Pewaukee to Oconomowoc and offers rolling terrain with lake, woodland and marsh
views.  The 52 mile Glacial Drumlin Trail also runs along the Southern border of the Town of
Delafield and offers biking, walking, rollerblading, and snowmobiling from the  West side of Waukesa
to Cottage Grove.

Naga-Waukee Park is a 416 acre parcel that lies on the East shore of Nagawicka Lake and offers a
nice beach area, boat launch for access to Nagawicka Lake, picnic areas, large common area, and
camping.

Naga-Waukee Golf Course is one of the most scenic and well maintained municipal courses in the
state of Wisconsin.  Several holes on the  back nine have dramatic views of Pewaukee Lake and the
course's signature par 5, 14th hole is considered by many as the most beautiful golf hole in the state.

A Pewaukee Lake public boat launch is located on the West end of the lake off Maple Ave.  (Hwy.
E).  City of Delafield residents are allowed to use the Bleeker Street Launch for access to Nagawicka
Lake.

There are a wide variety of home styles and price ranges in Delafield.  Many homes have large lots
of 1 acre or more.  Delafield is home to many of the more prestigious neighborhoods in the Lake
Country with Grandhaven, Lakeside Conservancy, The Arbors, Foxwood Estates, Hawksnest, Dover
Bay, Shepherd's Pass, Prairie Wind, Summerset Moors, Summerhill, High Ridge and Lost Creek
subdivisions.  Many of Pewaukee and Nagawicka Lake's lake properties fall within the Town and City
of Delafield boundaries.
