There are restaurants and taverns with boater access around the lake. Okauchee is a over 1,100 acres in size, and due to it having so many bays and inlets, it has over 12 miles of shoreline. The main part of the lake is know as "The Big Lake". This lake has gone through a big transition over the last 15 years with a tremendous amount of tear-down activity with small weekend type homes being razed and large new construction lake homes replacing them. Fishing is good for Bluegill, Crappie, Muskie, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, White Bass, Walleye and Northern Pike. |
